Reserve your puppy today!
Often times, backyard breeders and puppy mills will retire their dogs after only a few years of breeding. The dams are considered "spent", and though they may end up being rehomed into a loving situation, they will most likely end up in shelters or being put down.
Here at Double Yolker Kennels, we believe that a dog is a 10-15 year commitment, which means keeping them far beyond their breeding age. We plan to simply retire Georgia from her breeding duties and keep her as a companion and family pet. Georgia and all of our furry companions will stay with us until the end of their lives.
Will there be any future opportunites to get a puppy from Georgia?
YES! Don't worry! We intend to keep a puppy from Georgia's next litter. Her bloodline must continue as we have been overwhelmed with praises and compliments on every puppy produced so far. We have had repeat customers on more than one occasion and lots of word of mouth referrals. We thank and appreciate everyone and genuinely love our dogs. Our family enjoys producing quality, pure-bred puppies at a fair price and we delight in finding good homes for each one.
With all of that, we challenge you to really think through the commitment of welcoming a new puppy into your life. They are long-term commitments. They are living, breathing creatures that poop and pee. They require training, exercise, stimulation, sanitary living conditions, and so much more.
We get it. Life happens: college, moving away, health issues, etc. If you get a puppy from Double Yolker Kennels and are no longer able to care for it, please allow us the opportunity to help with the rehoming process. We are dedicated to ensuring not one of our pups end up on the streets, in a shelter, or any other negligent or abusive situation.
